I have to say that I was blown away by this company. Not in a bad way, but in a good way. First off, my husband is in Iraq, and bought a 1970 Chevelle. He contacted another company that was really good at taking our money and never getting the car.
I contacted Gilbert in a final attempt to get someone to get the car and get it to me. He was more than helpful. No money was taken until a driver was found, and he started to look for a driver as soon as he got my information. I got a call the very next day saying that he found a driver than can get the car on the 29th and have it here on the 2nd. I was pleased and he booked it.
The driver called the gentleman my husband bought the car from when he was on his way to get the car, and he also called me the next morning when he had the car. He also told me up front that he was going to stop and pull over because he did not want to chance it with it being New Years. I said that was fine.
On New Years day I got a surprising call. The driver was about 45 min outside of town. He arrived a whole day early. WOW.
I tried as hard as I could to get the money to pay him, but it was hard with the banks being closed. He said that was ok because he was stuck in town until at least 2 on the 2nd anyway. He did apologize a lot for the car being dirty. There was a car on the top that was leaking oil badly. The car beneath it was coated, and the front of mine was sprayed from the wind blowing. He even gave me money to get the car washed.
I am so blown away by this company, that if I ever have to transport a car (which knowing my husband and I, I am sure I will have to) I am going to call Gilbert first.
Thank you again so much for coming to the rescue and getting the car here in time.
