PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! 5 star auto transport is no company to deal with.
The representative I spoke with assured me the diver would be calling and be at my home on that Sat BEFORE 4p (the latest) to pick up the car. I stressed to him I had to leave my home by 530p that day for my flight back to AZ. I had to be back at work and was just here to help my 75 yr old mom with her move. They took at $200 deposit.
No driver ever called or no one showed up - EVER! I missed my flight - That Sat and Sun I kept calling, leaving voicemails with 6 different phone numbers and emailing. You'd think someone would have gotten back to me at least by Monday - no - not one person ever called.
Many of these broker companies are some guy sitting in the basement in his PJ's - he quotes something super-low like $700 - no shipping driver will pick that up (at least not the time of year I needed it - April/May - anything under $1100 shipping a car from NJ to AZ is a LIE. Actually, $1200-$1400 is more realistic. Try to go with a company that is a shipping company - NOT a broker - they own their own trucks. A shipping company that is a broker is ok but just a broker? Not for me.
How does a company take money and never full fills its contracts but yet manages to stay in business with these illegal practices - unfortunately companies like this ruin it for legit companies.
