Sarasota to Maine

This was the first time I have shipped a car. I chose 4 Corners based on excellent reviews. I contracted with them on April 10 to have my car picked up before I left Sarasota on April 27, and arriving in Maine sometime after April 30. I was assured there would be no problem, and to have the car ready to be picked up between April 24 and 27. I waited all week, but no phone call and no pickup. When I called on the 26th, Jeff told me he was having trouble finding a carrier, that there were lots of people who wanted their cars transported to New England. On the 27th, I was pretty frantic since I was leaving on the 28th. There was still no one to transport my car. I managed to find someone that could keep the car until it was picked up, but the pickup did not happen until May 7. I paid for enclosed shipping, but the car was transported on an open carrier. I agreed to this because by that time, I simply wanted my car back. I was told it would arrive by May 12. It finally arrived (thank goodness!) late at night on May 14. What an ordeal! I wish someone had stayed in touch with me. It would have helped me have more confidence in the service.

We apologize for the extreme delay in getting our client this vehicle- The weather and mass volume of vehicles going north was unprecedented. We did all we could including forfeiting our broker fee and refund the client the difference between the open and enclosed shipping. We did our very best and unfortunately we cannot control mother nature. We were in daily contact with the client but totally understand her frustration. We shared that same frustration Jeff
