Just my thoughts

The pickup was not smooth. I needed more time than 25 minutes to find a location for an 80 ft truck. I lived in St. Louis for a short time and didn't know the area all that well. We ended up driving around and had to stop in an area where young adults where walking by smoking marijuana. It was also 4 miles from my home. thankfully my roommate was able to meet me and stay with me while he loaded the car, and then drive me back home. I don't believe that it was my responsibility to scout out a location, and then help him get back on the highway. I thought that was poorly handled, and only served to increase my anxiety of a cross-country move. I did begin to wonder 'What am I paying for then?"

I was happy to see that it was an enclosed truck. The delivery, by a different person (Jeff), was smooth and professional. He contacted me when he said he would, and was prompt, efficient and personable. He was able to find a location close to my new home, and it was easy for me to return the rental car and get back to my car, delivered safe and sound!

I would use them again, with the knowledge gained from this experience. Others may want to ask if they have to find locations, etc.

We are very sorry for your inconvenience! We are glad to hear that everything went well, and were glad you noticed that you received an enclosed truck at an open rate because our driver had an extra spot. However to all future customers….these trucks are coming in with very large trailers and need anywhere to 50 to 100 feet of space to come in depending on the size of the trailer. They also usually cannot go down residential streets, and cannot go in where there are low hanging trees ect. They do try and accommodate the best they can.
