Good experience, would use again!

I found 1st Call Auto Haul on this site, and went with them based on the strength of the reviews. I was looking for transport for two cars from California to North Carolina. Their quote was lower than most of the others I tried, and they had great reviews, so they seemed like the best choice. The experience was great, Eric made sure to explain the process to me, and make sure I knew how the transport would happen. Eric said he had a few transporters that offered to take the cars, but since he wasn't familiar with them, he was waiting for one he had done business with to respond. I was glad to hear that, because it let me know he wasn't just trying to find the cheapest carrier, but one he knew would do the best job. He ended up hooking us up with Johnson Trucking. The cars were picked up less than a week after transport was secured. Transport took slightly longer than expected because the carrier was delayed in Texas, but both 1st Call and the carrier made sure to keep me informed about when I could expect to receive the cars. When the carrier did show up in North Carolina, he asked if we wanted the cars that night, or delay until the next morning. He suggested the next morning so we could examine the cars in the sun to make sure they were OK. That was great, because we knew he wasn't hiding anything. The cars were fine, a bit dirty, but in the same shape they were when they left California. Overall it was a good experience. I hope to never have to have a car shipped again (never moving cross-county again!), but if I did I wouldn't hesitate to use 1st Call Auto Haul.
