This was my first time experience of shipping a vehicle using a carrier. I was very disappointed by my first order from broker A (not a real name, just for convenience for this context), but became very happy with my second order from 1st Call Auto Haul. Here is why.
I purchased the new vehicle from MA and placed my order to broder A after reading the good reviews for it. However, after two weeks nothing happened and almost everytime I had to initiate the communication for the order status. Frustrated enough I figure I'd better look for a different broker. At that time 1st Call Auto Haul came into my view because if its good review on this website and BBB. One key point that attracted me and helped me to decide to go with 1st Call Auto Haul was that it claims it will never compensate the customer to write the review for it on this website, which made me believe its reviews must be honest reviews. So I placed the order on 10/4, with the expectation to get a driver secured in 7 days. Surprisingly, I got a call from Eric on 10/6 and was told a driver was secured. The driver was Jay Walker from J&T Auto Transport and he picked up the vehicle from the dealer on 10/7 and delivered it to me at MN at night of 10/10! This whole process from ordering to delivering took only a week, comparing with those two weeks wasted with broker A.
Through out the whole process, Eric from 1st Call Auto Haul was very knowledgeable (he was a driver himself before he became a broker) and informative about the process, and very patient on answering all my questions. Jay Walker from J$T Auto Transport was very professtional on transporting the vehicles. He got his new trucks and equipments for shipping without a worry, and with his new belt equipments they do not even leave any secure marks on my vehicle after the transportation. They secure the tires!
I really appreciate both Eric and Jay's professional work done with my vehicle! I am so glad I switched to them after the total disappointment with the other broker. I will certainly use them again and recommend to my friends.
