I started my search for a transport company online and checked Transprt Reviews. After getting several quotes online and by phone (not to mention dozens of calls and emails from other transport companies) I spoke with Ray at 1Flat-Rate LLC. After receiving their email quote and talking indepth with Ray, I felt comfortable with the company and decided to go with them. My vehicle was picked up from a dealer in Rose Hill, Texas (NW of Houston) two days after it was available. Five days later it was being delivered to me in Greensboro, NC by Kin Transport, the contracted carrier. The delivery was in an enclised truck at a cost of $785.00. The cost was three hundred dollars less than the next closest quote and $700.00 less than the most expensive. There were no problems or issues with the pick up or delivery and the vehicle arrived in the same condition it left in as it had been covered fot the transport. I received a call from someone at 1Flat-Rate around noon that the delivery would take place at approximately 6 pm that evening. I received a call at 4:30 from the driver from Kin Transport advising the delivery would be at 6 pm. I advised a location in a parking lot close to my home for delivery and the vehicle was delivered without incident. They would have delivered it to my door but I changed the location because it was closer to where I was going to store the vehicle. I was happy with my choice of 1Flat-Rate Transport, and the contracted carrier Kin Trucking, and would recommend them and do business with them again in the future.
