I have shipped 3 different cars from Northeast to FL in the past. This fourth time, I came across the profile for 1Flat-Rate and was intrigued by the claim that they don't charge broker fee until after car is actually DELIVERED. That is unheard of in the industry. All the brokers I've used and the many I've gotten quotes from will charge the $150-$250 fee anywhere from immediately after you submit the order to after the car is picked up. Most will charge when they "assign" you a carrier. If you have trouble with the carrier prior to actual pickup or during transport, the broker already has your money. I was nervous at first, but 1Flat delivered exactly what they promised. They found me a reputable carrier on short notice, at a fair price, and the car was picked up fast and delivered faster than expected. As promised, 1Flat charged me their broker fee AFTER I signed off on successful delivery. Customer service was great throughout the process, I was able to reach Julius immediately via email and phone every time I had a question or wanted a status check. I will definitely be using 1Flat-Rate again in the future!
