They lie about taking a credit card and will not take ownership

Date: 3/24/2021 I received a quote to have my car transported from IN to NC. Julius from 1 Flat Rate said a driver would be picking up by 18:30 and sent over an Invoice. On the 1 Flat Rate Website as well as the Invoice, they state no Credit Card information need to be provided, however that is not how they operate. Julius required a credit card number and when I even mentioned the no credit card statements he was dismissive and required it anyway. I begrudgingly complied and received a $1 charge to my card. When 18:30 passed I attempted to reach out and was given the run around by Julius. I spoke with the driver they had hired and he said he wasn't going to to the work. Julius besmirched my integrity and said I was colluding with the driver to cut out 1 Flat Rate, an obvious and malicious lie. They attempted no alternatives, refused to respond to my calls and messages, and even refused to apologize for degrading my integrity. They are a broker so they don't have their own drivers (something they will not tell you UNTIL they need someone to blame for their low competence levels). I saw until because it WILL happen. Do yourself a favor and work with a different company.
