On 11/30/10, after deciding to go ahead and buy a 2011 Toyota Highlander for my mother, I went online to quotes to ship the vehicle in container. After getting several quotes, the only person that follow up with a phone call was Sabrina Kims. She was very detailed and nice on the phone. She continued to call and since I had not bought the vehicle yet as it was special ordered by the dealership, I told her not to worry as I would used her services to ship my vehicle.
I bought the vehicle on 12/22/10 and on 12/23/10 Sabrina convinced me to make a deposit to hold the rate that she quoted me. I actually had several weeks before shipping the vehicle because I wanted to include some other items in the container. However, I made the deposited since Ms. Kims insisted that I do so. Being a savvy business person, I should have seen the red flag and done my home work on 1 World Auto Movers.
Anyhow, its been 8 days and I've exhausted every means to have some one at 1 World Auto Movers to have contact me with information as to the agent and location I should take my vehicle in the Port of Baltimore. Every time I called, all I got was Ms. Kims voice mail and the same for others within the company.
Out of curiosity I decided to check to see what others were saying about 1 World Auto Movers and I am definitely not surprised that these people are nothing but phonies and crooks. They sound very professional on the phone but there's a hidden motive behind all of this.
As of this morning on 1/19/11, I will definitely not be shipping with them and will leave no legal stone unturn in trying to collect my deposit. I will also do everything to discredit online.
