TOTAL RIP OFF - POOR SERVICE

Dave promised to have cars delivered by Jan 5th; they were hired and paid a deposit on 12-22-11 and said it was not a problem locating drivers. The cars were not picked up until Jan 6 and not delivered until Jan 20th (2 cars) one damaged and the other deemed totalled by our insurance company. The company he sub-contractsed out to is Berthoud Fair Deal Autos Carrier, Owner Bob Gabrielson is the most dishonest person I have ever dealt with. Our insurance adjuster said it was the worst display of incompetence he had ever heard of. 2011 Subaru was ruined and deemed totalled upon delivery. Cars were picked up 14 days late, driver could not be contacted after cars were picked up; cars were delivered 14 days late in damaged; one damaged and one totalled beyond repair. We did not hire this company, they were subcontracted by 1-Shot Express who could care less about our cars and situation with the drivers. We were forced to pay $100 over the agreed upon price to get our cars off the carrier or they were leaving with our cars; and forced to accept damaged vehicles and the owner/driver refused to give us his insurance or driver's information. He refused to give it to our insurance adjuster also. We were later contacted by our insurance company that told us the carrier is not bonded or insured. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Do not work with Dave at 1-Shot Express as he hired these drivers and would take responsibility.

how did we rip you off Doug? Why did you let the carrier load your vehicles if we were late? Are you blaming us because the carrier had an accident? they are governed by the USADOT and you are already working with the insurance as far as your e-mail.
