This review has more to do with the carrier we used then our company. communication from our company to the pickup up point and to Joseph was very good, our dispatcher spoke several times a day to both parties. When I booked this order with Joseph he told me the first available date for pickup was 8-16-10. When we spoke and booked the order nothing was ever said that this was the only day it could pickup. No broker in the world would even take an order like that. But we did find a carrier that said they would pick the vehicle up that day after 6pm like the pickup point wanted. Well the carrier never showed up because he was running behind which happens alot in this business with people not being home. Then I called the carrier on the 17th and talked to the boss personally and he said that his driver would be there after 6pm to pick up the car. Well he never showed up again. By that time it was to late to even look for another carrier because of the dead line. I apologized to Joseph on behalf of our company and the carrier. We will never use Red Line transport out of Chicago ever again. I am not saying they are a bad company but the lies they told us was what got us in trouble. We can only go by what the carrier tells us and then we pass this on to the customer. We aren't in the drivers seat and we don't know what kind of trouble the driver is having. In this case the owner of the truck didn't have a clue on what the driver was doing either, so he just lied to us and told us what we wanted to hear. I drove truck a good many years and I under stand that things happen beyond anyones control. But for Joseph to give us a review like this is unbelievable because he wasn't up front with us in the first place with the pickup schedule. We learned of the one day pickup when the carrier said he wasn't going to make it in there that day. So if you are reading this response please give a company all the info they need before they take the order, saves a lot of head aches later.
