1-2 go 2 - the only guys to call

I can't say enough about how professional and dependable Dwight and Ronnie from 1-2 go 2 and Mike from Deerfield Auto have been. After receiving several quotes on-line, 1-2 go 2 was one of the most reasonable. When I first called and talked to Dwight - he was very polite, helpful, and not at all "pushy" to get the business (which I LOVE).

When Dwight wasn't available by phone - Ronnie was there to give me an update - but they ALWAYS sent me email messages - providing both written and verbal information during each stage of the process. This practice elminated any and all confusion, frustration, and/or delay - and earned my complete confidence in their commitment to protect MY interests - as well as their own. After my nightmare experience with the Home Depot - when they intentionally refused to communicate with me in writing - confirming their commitment to protect themselves and leave me (the customer) as the "loser" , their professionalism was very much appreciated.

1-2 go 2 sent their contract to me via email - so I could review, sign it and return it to them within seconds. Our truck was delivered a week later. Again, comparing the experience with other companies, I realize I can't even get a repair person - right here in town - to give me an estimate (within a four hour window of time) - as to when or IF s/he is actually going to arrive - so it was especially considerate for the driver (who was coming cross country) to call with regular updates along his route - so we knew EXACTLY when the truck would be delivered.

From start to finish - Dwight, Ronnie, and Mike were professional, helpful, polite, reasonable (in price and in attitude), and attentive to every detail.

I have been teaching "Professional Workplace Skills" in the local school district as part of "career exploration". I have files of on "how to succeed in the workplace", "how to create a successful workplace" and "what NOT to do in the workplace". I write up and review "real life experiences" (like the one with the Home Depot and 1-2 go to) - to help students evaluate "what went wrong/right here?", "what could have been done better?" and identify the "positive workplace skills" that led to "success".

My experience with 1-2 go 2 was so positive in nature (and sadly - getting to be more rare these days) my review will be filed under "examples of successful workplace behaviors". The Home Depot is filed, of course, under "corporate greed/ they will fail over the long term - if they don't change their ways".

And that brings me to my final point. "Word of mouth" (obviously - or I wouldn't be writing this) can be a powerful tool when building a positive/negative business reputation. As a teacher committed to professional workplace habits - I DO tend to "over-react" to both positive and negative experiences in the workplace. I am determined to actively "discourage" unprofessional, selfish workplace behaviors and "encourage" professional, courteous, dependable workplace behaviors. So - as I continue to tell everyone I know about the nightmare with Home Depot - I will also tell everyone I know about 1-2 go 2 - the ONLY guys to call when shipping a vehicle.

Sincerely,

D. Walker
